新春健康

To that end I’d like to share a short video clip with you.  It is about something we do all the time when preparing raw chicken to cook.  We have been taught to rinse the raw chicken before preparation.  But is that the correct thing to do?

According to a food safety researcher, an Associate Professor with the Dept of Nutrition Science at Drexel University, we should stop rinsing raw poultry because that actually could spread harm around your kitchen counter!

Just make sure we cook the poultry thoroughly and all bacteria will be destroyed and be safe to eat!
